Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, in his state address, had approved the treatment of corona in private hospitals and also announced an increase in the salaries of Class-IV employees.

 Making an important announcement, CM Rupani said that the staff of medical, nursing, pharmacist, lab-tech and class-III serving in government hospitals would be given more incentive salaries for the next three months.  He said that by increasing the current salary of outsourcing staff nurses working in class-3 level in government hospitals, a monthly salary of Rs.  The state government has decided to pay an honorarium of Rs 50,000.  The newly recruited nurses will also be given honorarium

 Rupani said the state government would provide Rs 2.5 lakh a month for a specialist doctor.  We will give Rs 1.5 lakh per month for medical officer, Rs 40,000 per month for dental doctor, Rs 35,000 per month for homeopathy, Rs 18,000 per month for lab technician, ECG, technician and Rs 15,000 per month for class 4 employees.  In addition, the sisters outsourced nurses will be paid 20 thousand instead of 13 thousand for the next 3 months.  New nurses will also be paid a salary of Rs 20,000 for the next three months.  This additional honorarium will be paid by July 30

 The hard work we have done in the last 20-25 days since the transition to corona has progressed to 78000 beds in the state.  The system is also declining in view of the increasing number of cases in the state.  At a time when the number of corona patients is increasing in the entire state of Gujarat, all the trusts in Gujarat, be it private or government hospitals, are getting full.  Beds are filled with patients in registered hospitals.  In today's core group meeting, we have decided that now all the private hospitals, clinics, dispensaries, nursing homes in the state of Gujarat will be able to treat corona patients in their own hospitals.  All private hospitals, nursing homes will be exempted for treatment.  He does not have to seek any approval for Corona's treatment.  He will only have to inform the Collector and the Municipal Commissioner.
